[attr="class","field"] [attr="class","blackheading"]BACKGROUND The aftermath of Third Holy Grail War was the worst that The Einzberns could imagine. Their attempt at cheating classes failed, they lost the War, the Ritual was stopped before it could complete, and in the end The Great Grail itself disappeared without a trace. The culmination of years of research, of hopes and dreams and ambitions of the Three Great Families vanished like it had never existed. The Tohsakas soon gave up on the Grail, preferring to focus instead on building their own strength in Fuyuki. Nothing was heard from the Matous, as always, but the Einzberns was the one that took the loss of the Grail the hardest, and Jubstacheit was never known as someone who gave up easily on anything. The Einzberns retreated to their snowy castle, intending to reclaim or to recreate The Grail, whichever one would be accomplished first. As the result of the loss of The Greater Grail, the planned replacement vessel for the next Grail War became moot, and she was quickly abandoned. Over the next years when the rumors of the whereabouts of the Grail circulated wildly The Einzberns spent their time perfecting a new type of vessel that could summon the Grail without the actual presence of The Greater Grail, hoping that their link would be strong enough to overcame the distance. Naturally, their choices turned to homunculi, and for years they created many homunculi and discarded them when they proved to be unable to fulfill their intended use. It seemed just a connection was not enough. Traditionally The Greater Grail reacted first before The Lesser Grail, and over the time the Einzberns grew desperate. Then, some years before the Catharsis, the Einzberns changed tactics. Rather than creating a homunculus vessel that responded to the Greater Grail reaction, they created an entirely new concept of a vessel that would react first then forced the Greater Grail to respond, making them a kind of detection device perfectly fit for finding the Grail but could in no way recreating it. Thus began a series of Homunculi experiment with their ultimate goal of finding the stolen Great Grail. The first of such Homunculi, Ilyasviel, was deemed a failure and quickly discarded. Subsequent changes and refinements made several more homunculi with stronger detection but were much less stable, and more research reversed this instead. Initially frustrated, it was only after a lengthy experiments that the Einzberns managed to create a perfect balance of usefulness and stability. Innesviel von Einzbern was brought to the world. In the opinion of the Einzberns, Innesviel was a grat success, although by no means the best. She had a strong detection ability when tested by the Greater Grail fragments, superbly stable physique, and commendable Magic Circuits that could easily par a first-rate Magus. But most importantly, she was the first homunculi who was really well-crafted her life expectancy approached the stunning time of thirty years. It was a never-before-heard achievement that only added to the legendary fame of the Einzberns, but they themselves cared little of it in their blind pursuit of The Greater Grail. The only flaw in Innesviel was that she had to be released prematurely during her development, trapping her in the form of a child rather than a sturdier adult The Einzberns had envisioned. But it was not a big thing, and after a brief checking and equipping her to face the world Innesviel was sent on the first step of fulfilling her creator’s wishes: to go to the mystical Bali Island to accompany a group of Hunters because of a group claiming to have started The Holy Grail there. Innesviel’s hunt for The Greater Grail had begun. Over the years, Innesviel would be attached to various groups from the Mage’s Association, helping them investigate the various False Grail Wars that were happening all around the world and to determine whether the War held the real Greater Grail or not. Mostly she was led into fake Wars. Meanwhile the Einzberns continued perfecting their Homunculi designs and sent them on missions and sometimes on their own to increase the coverage of the search. But none of the newer homunculi proved to be as sturdy or as reliable as the first, and in subsequent years Innesviel met her younger sisters only to lose them shortly afterwards, mostly from the dangerous circumstances the homunculi were sent to. But despite the losses, Innesviel was spared no time to grief, and she trudged forward on her own. In recent years she had been a regular addition to a group of 100 Elite Mages known as The Hundred Hunters, where she was jokingly referred to by her fellows there as their 101st member. It was the first time Innesviel travelled with a group more than twice, and Innesviel repeatedly proved her usefulness to the group, leading them to regard her almost as a true member. She grew attached to some of the members during their various missions from The Mage’s Association, and over time she too regarded them as more than any people she had met before. On their latest mission, Innesviel and The Hundred Hunters was sent to a far eastern town of Taixuan to investigate a recent occurrence there. The Yggddmillenia family, known far and wide as a strange family of second-rate Magus claimed that they had the Real Greater Grail and openly announced their secession from The Mage’s Association. The Hundred Hunters were sent to punish this blatant act of defiance and to reclaim the Grail should their threat was real. Most of the Mages were a little skeptic, but as soon as Innesviel stepped on Taixuan grounds she felt that this was different. This War, was the closest. She had tried to caution her fellow Magus to be a little more careful, and this time to spent more than a day to gather information and to ask more help from the Magus Association if possible. But the elite task forces grew too proud of themselves, and coupled with an insider info that the Yggddmillennia had been unable to summon any Servants they decided to attack that very night. Innesviel was all against this, having sensed that at least a Servant had been summoned. But she continued to prove her usefulness to the team. It was she who was able to pinpoint the location of Yggddmillennia castle and to confirm that this time, it was the Real Greater Grail. The spirit of the 100 Magus rose very high. But it was soon turned to disaster. An unknown Servant appeared and disrupted the group’s latest meeting, killing most of the leaders and leaving their plans half-finished. The panicked Magus decided to continue with the attack nonetheless, hoping to quickly seize The Grail before more Servants could be summoned. Innesviel accompanied a group as they broke their way to the Yggddmillennia compounds, only to witness another nightmare. A monstrous old man tore through their ranks, brushing off the group’s famous barriers and crushing them as easily as if they were a doll. Eventually, all 100 Magus perished in that night. But, just as Innesviel’s adventures seemed to be coming to an end, the back of her arm glowed with a strange symbol. She had summoned the first Servant of Red. Escaping from the compounds, she quickly contacted the Mage’s Association to report the disaster and to request for immediate aid. She added that this time, the Greater Grail itself was at stake. She also updated her superior in the Einzbern family too, since Innesviel held little hope to the bureaucracy of The Clock Towers. Under direct orders from the Einzberns she began preparations of her own to welcome the various people that would be coming to The Grail’s aid. That is, if they indeed came at all.
[attr="class","field"] [attr="class","redheading"]PERSONALITY Innesviel’s form and voice is that of a young girl, probably around ten, with dazzling silver hairs and abnormally red eyes -the sure trait of an Einzbern homunculus. But while she is still upbeat and naïve as a child her age might be, Innesviel hid a queer side to her, one that could easily unnerve those who were not accustomed to her. Despite having the mind of a chid, it would not be an exaggeration to say that amongst all Masters in the Red Faction Innesviel is one of the most experienced. Strangely, she might also be one of the more religious ones, having recently learned religion and making a habit for prayer.Originally, she was a blank slate of a homunculi designed only to detect and find The Greater Grail. But her years of human interaction and her various travels across world had led her to develop a distinct personality of her own. Influenced by the straightforward way of the people involved in the False Grail Wars of whom she mostly interacted with, Innesviel is always blunt and to-the-point in whatever she says or do, finding courtesy and wishy-washy unnecessary and hard to understand. Her aura may be perceived as snobbish or ruthless, but in reality she is just really focused to the goal while naively expects others to feel the same. Most of the time, she is an upbeat, high-spirited person who likes to bring others into the fold rather than doing it herself. She never really attempts at making friends, having none of the feelings needed to form genuine friendship, but she does accept company easily -her time with the Hundred Mages had instilled something in her heart that other people are needed in her life. It would not be hard for others to bring the good side of her. However, far from too-trusting, Innesviel is a pragmatic schemer who regards lives purely in how they will be worthy to her goals. She accepts information easily but at the same time always applies careful scrutiny to anything that is presented to her. She is not really a liar at heart, but finds that such conducts, if needed, can easily be done. A careful planner, she regards action without plans as suicide and can easily whip up an “I’ve told you so” speech to anyone who failed in their unplanned actions. At the same time she is not obstinate in having others do as she wants them to do. Deep down she knows her place as merely an instrument, and this leads to a slight inferior feeling when really confronted by someone. She will not last long in an argument. But when concerning her goal, she is as persistent as anyone can get, trying and trying and trying again with anything she can do and everything she can use until she succeeds. In some aspects she resembles Jubstacheit von Einzbern himself if he was younger, and that may be part of the reason why Old Man Acht gave such a rare recognition towards this creation of him. Innesviel has never known fear her entire life until the night she faced Berserker of Black. She is slightly intrigued by the feeling and secretly wishes to understand it more. But that is a very low priority compared to her ultimate goal: to reclaim The Greater Grail and avenge The Hundred Hunters. For her, the only viable option towards this is simple. The complete extermination, of all Yggddmillennias.

Note: I am still waiting for Notan, since he/she had expressed interest in the last Red Master. If the Master is claimed, I am really fine for Innesviel to be just a Grail Detector instead. The Red needs to know where they're going, and something must be done to prevent the Black to prolong the war indefinitely in their fortified position.
Note 2 : She would most likely pinpoint the Waterfall Temple only after Day 4 or later due to its extreme protection.
Note 3: I have made her with intention as leader material or planner for The Red Team to match The Black One(s). I hope this will get war discussions going.
Note 4: There will be much editing done because Innes's history concerned the 100 Mages. But I am always welcome for discussion (and I hope I am better at writing my thoughts now)
