[attr="class","field"] [attr="class","charicon"] | [attr="class","field"] [attr="class","charname"]Csilla Bárány [attr="class","charinfo"]TWENTY FOUR DAYS FEMALE BODY MASTER RED FACTION CHAOTIC NEUTRAL BLUE | [attr="class","field"] [attr="class","blackheading"]BACKGROUND A freshly made Homunculus, Csilla is a whopping 24 days old. She‘s not really what one might call an ‘original’, rather the latest in a long line of ‘Csillas’. The Bárány family has been developing a line of Homunculi with the hope of creating a powerful end result. They are unique only in that each Csilla retains the majority of their knowledge and memories from the Csilla that came before, and so on and so forth. Though only 24 days old in body, Csilla has the combined memories and knowledge from 50 years of previous incarnations. Each incarnation generally spends the entirety of its lifespan learning at a rapid pace so as to pass on the knowledge to the next, though the sudden Grail War interrupted that usual flow. The Bárány family feels having Csilla in the war is a rare opportunity to grant her even more valuable information to pass down, regardless of whether or not she wins - in the end they must only retrieve her body. As an added precaution, a second Csilla was created and is being kept in the Bárány estate to carry on learning, just in case the War Csilla is destroyed too completely to be used to pass on the information of the last 50 years worth of incarnations. | [attr="class","field"] [attr="class","redheading"]PERSONALITY Csilla is still in the early stages of reassuming her personality from those that came before. Right now, the knowledge and memories of her previous selves are almost like a dream, causing a sense of nostalgia without a solid feeling of ownership. She smiles easily, often times blankly, and it is her default response to most interactions. Deeply curious by design, she is intrigued by everything new and is easily distracted when there is nothing that requires her immediate attention. She learns with a sense of childish awe, and in many regards is very naïve. Each of her previous selves lived a life secluded from the outside world, pouring over books and learning spells from members of the main and branch families. Her current self has a textbook understanding of Taixuan and the Grail Wars of the past, but experiencing either will be something entirely different. She was also given a crash-course primer in how to function on her own outside of the estate, though the Bárány family still insisted on sending an escort with her. She represents years worth of work and is quite an investment. The one thing that has already become hers is her wish. Though assumed to be a puppet master who would likely make a wish on behalf of the Bárány family, a desire has grown in her consciousness over the course of her incarnations. She is fated to live short lifespans in each incarnation, yet is also fated to ‘live forever’ in a potentially endless cycle of rebirth. She craves true life. To go out and see and experience the world, to touch it and feel it with a body that is not in rapid decline, to understand the concept of mortality. She is fascinated by the struggling of humanity, by their inherent suffering yet also their deep love and joy. She has slowly developed a deep craving for all the pains she is denied as a Homunculi, and her personal wish will only more rapidly develop once she is in the outside world - to be reborn as truly ‘human’. | [attr="class","field"] [attr="class","blackheading"]COMBAT - PHYSICAL FRAILTY - Csilla suffers the usual handicap that comes with being a Homunculus. Her body lacks strength and durability, and has an estimated lifespan of 3 years without heavy prana use. The strain of using Berserker will likely shorten this sharply.
- CSILLA CREST - Similar to a family’s Magic Crest, the Csilla Crest (or more literally, Star Crest) is what transcribes and stores all of Csilla’s past memories and knowledge, and is passed on to the next Csilla in the line. All the spells she has learned are thus passed down and are usable to her just as they would be for a normal Magic Crest. Though none of the spells are particularly powerful, the sheer number and thoroughness of what she knows makes it a threat. Her repertoire includes healing spells, divination, and bounded fields.
- RAPID LEARNING/RAPID THOUGHT - Csilla’s first skill was the ability to quickly move through information, process it, and store it. She reads information in a matter of seconds or minutes, and then does a secondary reading, after which all the information has been stored. She can then process and apply this knowledge very rapidly, usually a matter of minutes to hours depending on the amount and complexity of the information she received. The same concept is applied to things she hears or observes, and her memory retention is photographic - though only the most important pieces are passed down when she is remade. Essentially capable of super computer level output, her ability to make quick decisions based on the knowledge she has and reasonable speculation is not to be underestimated.
- NAIVETE OF THE NONUMAN - A double edged sword. Csilla does not follow normal logical paths all the time, and tends to act based on her own wealth of knowledge. She can act in any way that presents itself as an option and is not fettered by things like morals, consequences, or collateral damage. While she can speculate about outcomes and possible events, she is without the ability to guess or assume things she knows little about. It can make her an unpredictable opponent, but at the same time she cannot truly understand what others are going to do if she does not know something about them before hand. She is trapped within the realm of knowledge she already has.
- RED STRING OF FATE - A unique spell finished with rapidity when the Grail War was announced. Though already under construction, it was finished somewhat prematurely and harbors some serious drawbacks that it might not have otherwise had. It has a twofold construction, meant to be used both defensively and offensively, though the offensive usage is almost nonexistent in any other fashion than boosting her Servant. The defensive parameters create a sort of Bounded Field on her body, which convert her massive prana into a reactionary armor. Most magical attacks can be deflected, given they are not too powerful or done at too close of range, at which point it might simply act as a weak buffer. Physical attacks done by anything other than an enhanced weapon will be useless, though it is not reinforced enough to put up with much blunt damage from enhanced weaponry, and she will still end up with bruising regardless. A secondary effect extends red tendrils of prana into the outside world, which can act as an anchor so she cannot be moved, and can also be sharpened to act as a defensive field move. The offensive parameters are crippled at the moment, but she can attach her red threads to her Servant and temporarily flush him with extra prana. The toll on her body for using this spell is harsh, as it brings her magic circuits right to their breaking point - the amount of prana she is able to bring forth and manifest is extreme. Were this spell refined, it would likely make for a very effective countermeasure against her otherwise frail body.
- FAR EASTERN MAGECRAFT - Though generally frowned upon and ignored by the Mage’s Association, Csilla has begun devouring as much information on Chinese and Japanese styles of magecraft as she can find. The land responds better to these types than that of European descent, and she has no qualms with learning what she can of it to help bolster her Servant.
